The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”
(Judges 6:12)
This verse isn’t just a message for Gideon—it’s a message for all of us.
Gideon was hiding in fear of the enemies surrounding him, yet God called him a “mighty warrior.” This shows us that God sees beyond our circumstances and weaknesses. He sees us through the lens of His purpose and power. When we feel weak, inadequate, or afraid, we must remember that the Lord is with us—and He strengthens us.
You may be facing battles that seem impossible to overcome—family struggles, financial hardships, or personal challenges that test your faith. In the midst of it all, hear the voice of the Lord saying, “I am with you.” His presence turns weakness into strength and fear into courage.
God doesn’t call the qualified—He equips those He calls. Like Gideon, we are called to be mighty warriors—not by our own strength, but by the strength of the Lord who lives in us. Believe in the potential God sees in you. Trust that He is by your side, guiding your every step, fighting your battles, and leading you to victory.
Rise up, mighty warrior! God is with you.
Walk with confidence, knowing that with the Lord, you are more than a conqueror.
