Money Isn’t Everything

MIVF

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
(Matthew 6:24)

Money is a necessity for all of us—it's essential for living and for obtaining what we need and want. Wanting or having money isn’t wrong in itself. The real issue is living with your heart focused on it. Jesus made it clear: you can’t serve two masters—you will either serve God or serve money.

Even if your wallet is full, you can be sure of one thing: money isn’t everything. Happiness, peace, and health are priceless. And more importantly, no amount of money can purchase salvation—it comes by faith alone.

Peace with God is only found through serving Jesus, not wealth. So, who are you really serving? Are you more concerned with getting rich, paying bills, or chasing work? Repent and realign your path. Yes, pay your debts and work responsibly—but also make time for Jesus.

Know Your God

If you’ve chosen Jesus as your Lord, then invest time in truly knowing Him.

Read the Scriptures attentively.

Pray and be honest with God about your struggles and challenges.

Prayer:
My God, forgive me for turning away from You in my pursuit of wealth and possessions. I repent and turn my heart back to You. I acknowledge Jesus as my Lord and I want to follow Him daily. Please help me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
