“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him—even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.”
(Revelation 1:7)
In the midst of our daily battles and the opposing winds we face in life, we must remember this truth: the King of kings has already won! There’s a beautiful Christian hymn that says, “He comes, conquering – Jesus.” It’s a song of hope for all who are facing trials and hardships. Its words remind us that above every difficulty, our Savior reigns—strong and victorious. When everything around us seems to be falling apart, remembering this lifts our eyes to eternity, knowing that the final victory belongs to Christ.
As we fight our daily battles, we must hold fast to the truth that our Lord has already triumphed. He conquered sin, death, and all the powers of darkness. The song “He comes, conquering – Jesus” echoes this powerful truth: we are not alone on this journey. Christ goes before us, leading us toward victory.
When the trumpet sounds and the heavens open in glory, we will see the victorious King in all His splendor. Those who remain faithful will sing the song of the redeemed, proclaiming: “He comes, conquering – Jesus!”
So, trust in this blessed hope. Don’t give up, even when the burden feels heavy. Jesus is our victorious Commander, and in Him, we are more than conquerors. Walk in faith, sing in faith, live in faith—because very soon, every tear will be wiped away, and we will reign with Him in eternal glory.
Conquering with the Lord
Fix your eyes on Christ, not your circumstances: In the midst of storms, keep your gaze on Jesus. Troubles pass, but His victory is eternal. Those who trust in Him stand firm to the end.
Stay faithful even in the fight: Persevere in prayer, in the Word, and in praise—trusting that the victory has already been secured.
Proclaim Jesus’ victory every day: Don’t keep this hope to yourself. Share it with others—testify that Jesus has won! Your active faith brings courage to broken hearts and shows the world that our King lives and reigns.
A Prayer:
Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith in the battles of life. May I never forget that You have already overcome and that You are with me. Give me courage to stand firm and proclaim Your victory. Come, reign in me! Amen.
