La Pastora Ana Moored
Welcome! My name is Ana María Moored, originally from San Salvador, El Salvador. In 1983, I arrived in the United States with a suitcase full of dreams and hopes, without imagining that my path would lead me to serve as a pastor in the Living by Faith International Ministry. Since April 1st, 1999, this house of prayer has been an oasis where our faith is put into action, helping us to persevere and expand the Kingdom of God.
During my journey, I have seen the incomparable faithfulness of God, which has led me to not grow weary in serving Him. For me, it is an honor and a privilege to serve God in this ministry, as I know that my reward comes from the Most High. Join us in our mission to bring the word of God to all those who need it!
In our ministry, we seek to cultivate faith in our members through biblical teaching, worship and service to others. We believe that faith is a call to action, and we are committed to serving our local community and supporting those in need around the world.
In short, we are a church committed to loving God and serving others. If you are looking for a faith community where you can grow spiritually and make a difference in the world, we invite you to join us in the Living in Faith International Ministry.
Our Vision
Evangelize, Affirm, Disciple, Send, and Plant
These 5 steps of our vision are because we believe that evangelizing is a mandate and following up on it is our duty, sending and planting to continue expanding the Kingdom of God.
In what we believe
- We must submit ourselves to God's will, which is good, pleasing and perfect for us.
- We can live as Jesus did: in holiness, by decision and conviction through the Holy Spirit. He dwells in us from the moment we receive JESUS as our Savior.
- Through the work of Jesus we can fulfill God's plan for our lives: to worship God, to be planted in His house, to have the character of Christ and to serve others.
- God desires to heal and prosper us so that we too can help others.
- Everything written in the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit, which is why the Bible is our ultimate authority and is the manual that determines what we are to do and what we are to do with our lives.
- There is only one God, creator of all, who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Sin separated us from God and His plan for us.
- Jesus Christ is the only one who can restore our relationship with God. Jesus, being by nature God, was born as a human being; and although He lived without sin, He died on the cross and endured the punishment for our sins; but on the third day He rose again to show His power over sin, death and the devil, and to give us power to face life.
- Salvation is a gift from God. We are saved by confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in our heart that God raised him from the dead.
- We are saved by grace through our faith for good works.
- Repentance is a commitment we make to turn away from sin, renew our minds and follow Jesus.
- Sanctification is an ongoing process of submission to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit until Christ is formed in us.
